ECONOMIC LIVELIHOOD PROMOTION
This area is intended to :
- Increase food production and effective use of scarce resources within the communities with an aim of bringing up well- nourished children and their household members.
- Also increase house hold income through village savings and loan association (VSLA) concept.
- Train community members on how to promote household incomes through increased agricultural productivity and sales.
Promote urban farming methods and poultry.
HEALTH PROMOTION
This area intends to:
- Organize trainings for Adolescent Girls and Young Women AGYWs and single mothers on HIV/AIDS awareness and protections.
- Strengthen and networking with government and other private institutions to conduct research on issues of HIV/AIDS.
PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT
PROSIMA provides free psychosocial support services to survivors of GBV especially sexual abuse cases and other forms of abuse to the vulnerable single mothers and the entire community.
The activities conducted include counseling services and support supervision visits to survivors of violence.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
The overall accounting officer for PROSIMA for all moneys and loans in all programme is the Executive director (ED) while the balances of expenditures are administered by the Treasurer who is responsible for safety of PROSIMA money.
