Progressive single mothers network (PROSIMA) is a women founded community based organisation (CBO) formed in 2017 with over 50 single mothers legally registered in Wakiso District with registration number. Reg. No.WCBO/19/5765 as a result of increased reports on poverty, HIV/AIDS and Gender based violence cases (GBV).

Our vision is single mothers and vulnerable people be able to holistically sustain their households and contribute to community development.
OUR MISSION
To promote community transformation through equipping single mothers and the community with appropriate life skills for family economic sustainability.
Objectives
- To promote member’s economic empowerment.
- To contribute to mitigation of gender based violence in the community.
- To promote and protect the rights of vulnerable single mothers and their children.
- Promoting and restoring hope to vulnerable households.
- HIV/AIDS awareness and sensitization among single mothers and the entire community to reduce new infections.
- Promote vocational education by equipping single mothers and the community with practical skills and knowledge to reduce unemployment.

Progressive single mothers network is currently operating in Wakiso District and Masanafu, Kinoonya zone, Lubaga Division Lubya Parish with offices in Kyebando, Elisa road, Mulondo close and our goal is to cover the whole country.
